2024 WSSP Magny Cours, weekend2024 WSSP マニクール戦
This was a rather solid weekend for us, as we got the chance to prove that we’re now able to fight comfortably in the point zone. In the Superpole my session ended with a minor crash, so unfortunately I couldn’t qualify in a better position – the positive side is that the top-10 was within reach. The race on Saturday was first delayed and then postponed to the following day, due to heavy rainfalls. On Sunday morning in race one the track was in mixed conditions and the tyre choice was a gamble. We went with wet and unfortunately the track dried out too fast, so there wasn’t much to do there.
僕たちにとってかなりしっかりとした週末になり、今ではポイント圏内で余裕を持って戦えることを証明するチャンスを得られました。スーパーポールでは小さな転倒でセッションを終えてしまい、残念ながらもっといいポジションで予選を終えることはできませんでしたが、いい面としてはトップ10が手の届くところにありました。土曜日のレースは激しい雨のため、まず遅れ、その後翌日に延期されました。日曜日の朝のレース1は路面がミックスコンディションで、タイヤ選択は賭けでした。僕たちはウェットを選びましたが、残念ながら路面の乾きが早すぎて、そこではあまりできることがありませんでした。
On the other hand, the second race was fully dry. At the beginning of race two I did not have a good feeling with the bike. I was close to high siding many times. By half race the feeling started to improve and I could put in a solid pace. Bit by bit I caught up with the guys in front of me and I got to battle in the point zone. We leave with a 13 position, which is bringing us closer to our objective, and it shows our progress since the beginning of the season.
一方、レース2は完全なドライでした。レース2の序盤はバイクとの感触がよくありませんでした。何度もハイサイドしそうになりました。レース中盤になると感触がよくなり始め、しっかりとしたペースで走れるようになりました。少しずつ前のライダーたちに追いつき、ポイント圏内でバトルすることができました。13位という結果で週末を終え、目標に近づいていますし、シーズン開幕からの僕たちの進歩を示すものになりました。
