Kaito Toba was born on 7 April 2000, in Fukuoka (Japan). When he was only five years old, he got on a motorbike for the first time and that turned into his passion immediately. His career in racing started soon enough, as he took part in different national championships and made his name known among the locals.
At the age of 14, Kaito reached the international scene by winning the Asia Talent Cup: this turned into the perfect opportunity to join notorious competitions such as the Moto3 Junior World Championship and the Red Bull Rookies Cup. The successes achieved in both Series opened the door to the Moto3 World Championship, where Kaito has been racing since 2017. Through these years, he rose to the challenges and progressed constantly in one of the most competitive classes, putting in solid showings and scoring front results.
