2025 WSSP Magny-Cours, weekend2025 WSSP マニクール戦
Magny-Cours turned out to be a challenging weekend from start to finish. On Friday, we focused on working on the set-up of the bike, but it felt like the engine was lacking some power compared to previous rounds. We tried to compensate by improving the feeling with the rear, though our running was cut short in Superpole by an early crash. The team worked incredibly hard to repair the bike in time for one final lap, and I am thankful we were able to get back out before the flag.
マニクールは最初から最後まで苦しい週末になりました。金曜日はマシンのセッティングに取り組みましたが、これまでのラウンドに比べてエンジンのパワーが少し足りないように感じました。リアのフィーリングを改善することで補おうとしましたが、スーパーポールでは序盤に転倒してしまい、走行が途切れてしまいました。チームが本当に懸命にマシンを修復してくれて、最後の1周に間に合わせてくれました。チェッカーフラッグ前にコースに戻れたことに感謝しています。
On Saturday, we continued searching for a better compromise with the bike. The lack of track time and data made things difficult, but I was still able to improve my times ahead of Race 1. Starting from the back of the grid and serving a long-lap penalty meant I had to work my way forward, eventually climbing to P17. Unfortunately, with just a couple of laps to go, I crashed and couldn’t rejoin.
土曜日も、マシンのより良い妥協点を探し続けました。走行時間とデータが不足していて難しい状況でしたが、レース1に向けてタイムを縮めることはできました。最後尾グリッドからのスタートに加えてロングラップペナルティもあったので、順位を上げていく必要があり、最終的に17位まで追い上げました。ところが残り数周というところで転倒してしまい、レースに復帰することはできませんでした。
Sunday brought similar challenges. We tried more set-up tweaks in warm-up, but we were still not where we wanted to be. In Race 2, I had to start from the back again, but I focused on staying consistent and learning from each lap to collect as much data as possible for the team.
日曜日も同じような課題がありました。ウォームアップでさらにセッティングを調整しましたが、まだ目指すところには届いていませんでした。レース2もまた最後尾からのスタートでしたが、安定して走ること、そして1周ごとに学びながらチームのためにできるだけ多くのデータを集めることに集中しました。
It was not an easy weekend, but we will take the lessons from Magny-Cours and work hard to be in a stronger position for the next round.
簡単な週末ではありませんでしたが、マニクールで得た教訓を生かして、次のラウンドではもっといい位置で戦えるよう頑張ります。
