“I’m not fully satisfied with how we wrapped up the weekend, but we’re going to take the positive out of it. We worked well in the free practices and in QP we achieved a solid position on the third row. The start of the race was ok, I was with the front group and holding on to my spot. However, after a couple of laps, I almost crashed and that made me lose quite a bit of time. Afterwards, I started my comeback, and eventually we finished inside the Top-10. I am sure we could have gone home with a better result. We take away a strong weekend of continuous improvements and now we aim for front positions in Misano.”
週末の締めくくり方には完全には満足していませんが、ポジティブな点を持ち帰ります。フリー走行ではいい仕事ができ、予選では3列目というしっかりしたポジションを獲得しました。レースのスタートは悪くなく、フロントグループの中でポジションを守っていました。でも数周後に転倒しかけて、かなりタイムを失ってしまいました。その後は追い上げを始め、最終的にトップ10以内でフィニッシュしました。もっといい結果を持ち帰れたはずだと確信しています。継続的に改善できた力強い週末を糧にして、次はミサノで上位を狙います。
