2025 WSSP Balaton Park, weekend

It was a busy weekend at Balaton Park, where we made steady progress from Friday through to the Sunday race. On the opening day, we focused on improving the feeling at the braking points. With a couple of adjustments, I managed to improve both my lap time and my overall pace. The classification was extremely tight, and while yellow flags prevented me from making the most of my final laps, the direction we had taken felt promising.

On Saturday, we continued building on that same base. The feeling on the bike kept improving, and again I was able to lower my times. Still, I knew there was more to extract, and the close gaps in the field kept us motivated to find another step forward.

Sunday’s warm-up was held on wet tarmac, which limited the opportunity to test further set-up options, but it was useful to gather some data in those conditions. In the race, I defended my position at the start and managed to avoid a few tricky incidents around me. I battled consistently in the points zone, enjoyed some good overtakes, and eventually brought home a couple of points.

Overall, it was a positive weekend where we showed progress, but our clear target remains to fight for the top-10. We’ll keep working hard to close the gap step by step.
