2025 EWC Le Mans, weekend

This was my first time competing in EWC and taking part in a 24-hour endurance race. It’s definitely an adventure I won’t forget easily!

I don’t have much experience on the Honda 1000cc, but I adapted quite quickly, and together with the other riders on the team, we worked to find a set-up that would be a decent compromise for all of us. We had great weather throughout the test and practice sessions, and qualifying went well—I was able to set the second fastest time in the Stock category.

Once the race started on Saturday, though, the conditions turned unpredictable: rain, then a drying track, then more rain… The surface kept changing and we had to constantly adapt to whatever was out there. Unfortunately, we lost quite a bit of time due to an electronic issue on the bike, but overall, it was a unique experience. We finished 8th in the Stock classification, which isn’t too bad considering that three out of the four riders in our team were rookies in the EWC.

I’m sure we can achieve more, and we’ll build on this first experience heading into the next event—the 8-hour race at Spa.
