“It was a challenging yet entertaining race: I started from 11th on the grid and I overtook the other riders one by one, until I reached the first group. The last few laps were exciting and I enjoyed fighting with the other guys. In the end we got onto the podium and I am incredibly happy, this is the right way to start the season. A big thanks to the team for all their effort in the preseason and in this first round. Now we need to keep working like this and stay consistent throughout the whole season – that’s my target”.
